Throughout the long-term researching and developing activity "Kosmos" has projected and produced several types of antennae with the different purposes and electrical characteristics.

Such development has required development and production of great number of antennae filters and antennae deflector, as well as other elements in the antenna - feeder system.

SYSTEMS FOR AZIMUTH DETERMINATION

Systems for azimuth determination cover wide frequency range, divided in octave working ranges of each individual system. System for azimuth determination consists of:

antenna part
microwave processing
video processing
data processing unit

Antenna system consist of three wide-band antennae (log-periodical type LPT3 in L range, and in S and C range collar antennae type DR24 and DR48), all direction antenna and positioning system.

In the part off microwave and video processing the necessary signal levels are provided for work of data processing unit in which the azimuth is determined according to suitable algorithm.

Beside azimuth measurement, the system is used for measurement of received signals intensity. The system weight is maximum 75-100 kg.

TESTING OF ANTENNAE CHARACTERISTICS

The measurement of electrical parameters (amplitude and phase characteristics, polarized patterns. VSWR, ...) for smaller dimensions antennae is performed in electro-magnetic anechoic chamber.

High - quality measurement of electrical parameters can be performed for frequency range (1-8) GHz.

For bigger dimensions antennae, the measurement is performed out of anechoic chamber.

All climate - mechanical testing are performed in special chambers.
